Pricing FAQ
What happens at the end of my 14-day trial?
Your agent automatically reverts to Free-tier behavior — Tier 1 memory, no dream cycles, no critic, capped at 3 agents and 1,000 memories per agent. Nothing deletes. If you upgrade later, all the memories and directives accumulated during the trial stay intact and become accessible again.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or my subscription lapses?
We never delete your data on downgrade. Pro/Team features stop running — dream cycles pause, the critic stops enforcing, Tier 2/3 memory becomes read-only — but every memory, fact, and directive is preserved on disk. Re-upgrade and they come straight back.
Can I run more than one agent on Free?
Yes — up to 3 agents per install on Free, each with its own caps. During the 14-day trial, those caps are lifted entirely. Pro and Team have no agent count cap.
What's the difference between Pro and Team?
The SDK feature set is identical — full directive lifecycle, dream cycles, critic, Tier 2/3 memory, all of it. Team adds up to 5 developer seats under a shared license and billing. If you're a solo builder, Pro. If you have teammates who need their own dashboard logins and a shared invoice, Team.
When do I need Enterprise?
Enterprise is for customer-facing or multi-tenant deployments — products where every end user gets their own agent — and for organizations that need custom contractual terms (IP, audit, SLA, custom storage backends, MSA). If you're embedding Wisdom Layer into something your customers use, you need Enterprise.
What telemetry do you collect?
Counts only — how many agents, memories, messages, dreams, directives — plus version, OS, and Python version. Never message content, never memory content, never API keys, never user data. Free installs send a daily payload; opt out with `wisdom-layer telemetry off`. Pro/Team/Enterprise are opt-in only — off by default. 12-month retention on raw events, indefinite on aggregated rollups.
Do you offer discounts?
Enterprise pricing is annual by default and negotiated per contract. If you're a research lab, open-source maintainer, or solo founder pre-revenue, email us — we have discretionary discounts.
